1. Purpose of Services

All tarot readings and intuitive sessions offered by Blue Lotus Esoterica are intended for personal insight, reflection, and entertainment purposes only.
Readings do not constitute medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice and should not replace consultation with qualified professionals in those fields.

By booking or purchasing a reading, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older (or have parental consent) and that you understand the interpretive nature of tarot services.

2. No Guarantees or Warranties

Blue Lotus Esoterica makes no guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding the accuracy, outcomes, or results of any reading.
Tarot readings are interpretive tools, not factual predictions. All decisions made following a reading are the sole responsibility of the client.

3. Confidentiality

All information shared during readings—live or written—is treated as strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party without explicit written consent, except as required by law (e.g., imminent harm or legal obligation).

No session will be recorded, photographed, or shared without mutual consent. Blue Lotus Esoterica values client privacy and handles all correspondence with discretion.

4. Refunds, Rescheduling & Cancellations

Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled session.
Missed appointments or same-day cancellations will be non-refundable.
Once a reading has begun, a spread has been drawn, or a written reading has been delivered, all sales are final.
In the rare event that Blue Lotus Esoterica must cancel or is unable to deliver a reading, clients will be offered a reschedule or full refund.

Digital readings are custom, intellectual work and therefore non-refundable once sent. If a technical or delivery issue occurs (e.g., corrupted file, lost email), a replacement or credit will be provided promptly.

5. Delivery of Services

Live Readings: Conducted via Zoom or another agreed-upon video platform.
Digital Readings: Delivered via email within 24 hours of purchase, unless otherwise noted.
Bundle Packages: Written follow-ups are provided within 24 hours after the live session.

Delivery times are approximate and may vary due to time zones or technical delays. Blue Lotus Esoterica is not liable for issues caused by email spam filters, internet outages, or platform errors.

6. Client Responsibilities

By engaging with these services, clients agree to:

Approach readings respectfully and in good faith.
Understand that insight is interpretive, not prescriptive.
Accept full responsibility for any personal or professional actions taken as a result of the reading.

Blue Lotus Esoterica reserves the right to refuse service to anyone exhibiting harassment, hate speech, or inappropriate behavior.

7. Intellectual Property

All written interpretations, recorded content, images, and materials produced by Blue Lotus Esoterica are the intellectual property of the business.
Clients may use their own readings for personal purposes only; redistribution, copying, or commercial use of materials is prohibited without written consent.

8. Media Release & Content Use

By booking or purchasing a reading, you acknowledge and agree that Blue Lotus Esoterica may, from time to time, use anonymized portions of readings for educational, illustrative, or promotional purposes across social media, websites, and marketing materials.

No personally identifying information (name, likeness, contact details, or specific identifiers) will ever be disclosed.
Shared materials may include paraphrased excerpts, general themes, or symbolic insights only.
Clients who prefer that their readings not be used in any form may opt out at any time by emailing bluelotusesoterica@gmail.com.

By not opting out, you grant Blue Lotus Esoterica a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use anonymized, non-identifiable excerpts for promotional or educational content, in accordance with these privacy protections.

9. Limitation of Liability

By purchasing or booking a reading, you agree that Blue Lotus Esoterica and its owner(s) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to emotional distress, loss of income, or decisions made as a result of the reading.

You release and hold harmless Blue Lotus Esoterica from any and all liability arising from your use of the service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located within Harris County, Texas.

11. Acknowledgment of Agreement

By purchasing or booking a service with Blue Lotus Esoterica, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
You further acknowledge that you are voluntarily engaging in an intuitive reading and that you assume full personal responsibility for your participation and interpretations.
